Career Opportunities At Trade Schools

Hello, my name is Keith, and if you want to learn all about trade schools, you should read my blog. I didn't go to college after I graduated from high school and after a few years of working at a job where there wasn't any advancement, I decided to learn a trade. I wasn't sure what I wanted to do, so I researched many of the careers that are offered at trade schools. While doing my research I looked up typical salaries and the current job demand of many of the courses offered. After choosing a career path and graduating from trade school, I now have a great job and I've never been happier. I decided to write a blog to help other people who want to make a positive career change too.

Top 5 Things You Should Do When Making A Car Donation

by Stephanie Cunningham

When you're ready to upgrade to a new car or truck, it's an excellent idea to consider donating the old car. Car donations give you the opportunity to help out a charity that could really use the funds. Before you turn your car over, there are five important things you should do.

Choose The Organization That Supports Your Charity

If you have a charity that is close to your heart, you'll want to find an organization that accepts truck donations with proceeds going to your favorite charity. Many companies give customers the option of having the funds go toward one of many charities, so ask to see their list first. Of course, some places take vehicle donations, fix the automobiles up, and then give them to a needy family. Just make sure you know where you're donation is going and that it is a cause you are okay with.

Clean The Car Out

One of the biggest things people forget is to double check that they haven't left any items behind in the car. Before you donate your vehicle, you'll want to clean the inside of the automobile from top to bottom. This gives you a chance to locate your belongings, while also getting the car or truck ready for a new owner.

Make The Arrangements

When you're ready to donate my car, you'll need to make the proper arrangements. This varies by organization. Some may request you drive the vehicle to their donation site, while others are more than happy to come and pick the automobile up at a time that is convenient for you. Always be sure to let the company know if the car is no longer driveable so they know to bring a tow truck.

Complete The Paperwork

There is paperwork to complete when you donate my truck. You'll want to make sure you have to title ready to fill out and turn over, and you'll need the company to give you a receipt with the value of the vehicle written on it. This can be used as a charitable deduction on your taxes at the end of the year.

Leave A Review

After you've finished making your car donation, leave a review on social media. This is a great way to let others who are interested in the same opportunity know whether the company you selected was easy to work with, and if the transaction went off without a hitch. The more detailed the review, the better. Start with the minute you made the phone call and end with the organization taking possession of your car.
